LIKE MANY THINGS, IT ALL BEGAN WITH THE BEATLES.
Always a drawer, I grew up doing endless portraits of the 4 (fab) members of my favorite band. By college, in the midst of experimenting and learning oil painting, I had moved onto other subjects.
But, a few years later, I decided to do a painting of Paul McCartney to enter into a competition being held by his social media. (It won!) The experience brought me in touch with so many other fans like myself, and was just so much fun I thought...why did I ever stop?
So I kept going. Creating Beatles art is my fun! I'm just a fan making art inspired by them for the love of it, and am happy if other fans can enjoy it too.
SO, LIKE...DO YOU ONLY PAINT AND DRAW THE BEATLES?
Nope!
While that is my *favorite*, I just love doing any kind of figurative art and portraits. I also do commissioned portraits of kids, families, pets, etc.
I am enjoying more botanical/floral painting as well.
My painting style has changed a lot in recent times, and I am working toward presenting an updated and more accurate representation of my other work here on my site.
