INFO TO GET YOU STARTED
I can create a custom hand painted portrait working from your chosen photo. To get started, you just need to know the following 3 items!
1.) What's your Subject?
Whether it's a portrait of your child, your niece, your whole family, your own custom Beatles painting, your dog or cat...all are welcome!
2.) Choose Your Medium
I work mostly in 2 mediums:
GOUACHE PAINT:
Gouache (pronounced "gwaash") is a water-based paint that creates a soft, watercolor look with a velvety finish.
Paintings in Gouache are done on fine quality, heavy weight watercolor paper.
This is my favorite medium to work in!
OIL PAINT:
Oil paintings have some texture to them. They are done on your choice of either stretched canvas or wood panel, and will be coated with a varnish for a shiny finish. Oil paintings will tend to take longer to complete, with a more time consuming process and a longer dry time.
(but hopefully will be worth the wait!)
3.) Choose Your size
Paintings in gouache on paper are available in the following sizes. These are common sizes that you will be able to easily find a frame for.
Gouache sizes:
8x10"
11x14"
16x20"
18x24"
Paintings in Oil on either canvas or wood panel are highly customizable in size as they will be made to order, and these surfaces are available in many sizes.
You can use these sizes as a guide, but I can essentially do these or anything in between!

12x12" (square)
16x20"
18x24"

PRICING
I determine prices based on these 3 factors: subject, medium, and size.
Other factors can contribute to the price as well, such as: adding more than one person, complicated backgrounds, etc.
